Women issues or what has happened to her situation are considered to be the most significant challenges that face the heavenly religions. This is due to the vital roles that women play, or due to the tasks that are attributed to her. All these lead to controversial issues in regards to the position of women and their roles in civilization construction of nations and from the heavenly religions’ perspective. Thus, to what extent are these roles compatible or in accordance with women’s contemporary reality? Are there any potentials of harmonizing them?

It is worth mentioning that the true heavenly religions are innocent from what has attributed to them in regards of injustice and insults that women have received. Injustice and insults are due to the oppression of social norms heavenly religions and legislations, distortion of sacred texts, or misunderstanding of such sacred texts.

Some of the vital themes of religious studies are women’s position, legislations which are related to them, their historical situations and positions, how sacred texts consider them, and how interpreters and men of religions stood in front of them.  All these will be discussed under the icon specific for women’s status in religions. Some important topics that will be discussed is the modification of the misconceptions and revealing the misunderstanding of religious texts which all contributed to the distorted image of women and their position. They also aim at showing the shining status of women and their roles in societies from religions perspectives.
