The Most Ancient Manuscript of the Torah

As they believe, the Samaritans possess the most ancient manuscript of the Torah in the world. it is dated back to 1615 BC. The writer of this manuscript is Phinehas, the son of Eleazar and the grandson of Aaron, the brother of Moses. It was written thirteen years after the children of Israel had entered the Holy Land. It was written in the ancient Hebrew. The Samaritan Torah is different from the Jewish one. There are 7,000 differences between them in regards to words, verses or chapters. The Samaritans believe that whatsoever people need is available in the script of the Torah.
