Jerusalem is full of Islamic and archeological sites. It has almost a hundred archeological buildings such as mosques, schools, Zawayas, Takayas, cemeteries or fortifications.
Since its birth, Islam has shown interest in this city. Throughout ages, Muslim kings and rulers paid attention to the construction of huge and luxurious buildings decorated with carvings and beautiful decorations, and they also cared for building general buildings to be at the service of pilgrims or worshippers who reside next to the mosques or churches. They did this for Allah’s sake and to get His rewards.
