It is believed that the Christ have taken this path when he was arrested by the Roman soldiers and taken to crucifixion. It consists of 14 segments starting with Sisters of Zion School; such a site was the location where Pontius Pilate ordered for crucifying the Christ. Then this rout goes the west to Al-Wad Road, Al-Mufti Aqaba, then to the road which joins Al-Wad Road with Khan Al-Zeit. Then this road extends to reach the Holy Tomb in the Church of Resurrection.
