An-Najah Center for Religious Studies (ANCERSA) Strengthens Cooperation with the French Institute for the Near East (Ifpo)

Prof. Jamal Zaid Al-Kilani, the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Director of the An- Najah Center for Religious Studies, received a delegation from the French Institute for the Near East in a visit aimed at discussing ways to enhance academic and scholarly cooperation between the two sides, as a continuation of the agreement previously signed between them.
Representing the An-Najah Center for Religious Studies at the meeting were:
Prof. Odeh Abdullah, Dr. Amer Joudatallah, and Ms. Rana Qadri, who provided simultaneous interpretation between Arabic and English and facilitated the dialogue, in addition to Eng. Lubna Kino, who delivered a presentation introducing the Center’s website, its research content, and the activities carried out by the Center.
Representing the French Institute for the Near East were:
Sébastien Mosneron Dupin, Adviser for Cooperation and Cultural Action and Director of the French Institute in Jerusalem, and Anouk Dumas, Attaché for Cooperation and Cultural Action.
During the meeting, both parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation in the areas of student exchange, exchange of academic expertise, the organization of joint workshops, and the implementation of periodic research projects, emphasizing theimmediate commencement of preparations for these programs.
This meeting comes as part of the An-Najah Center for Religious Studies’ efforts toexpand its international partnerships and strengthen its research and academic activities.
