Under the patronage of Professor Jamal Al-Kilani, the Dean of the faculty of Shari’ah and the Chairman of An-Najah Center for Religious Studies, the center organized the fourth meeting for the Palestinian Forum for coexistence which took place on July 11th, 2023, in the Latin Church in Ramallah.

Prof. Al-Kilani, the dean of the faculty, Mr. Raed Debiy, the Vice President for Social Affairs, Dr. Odeh Abdullah, the Chairman of the Fundamentals of Religions Dept, Dr. Amer Jodallah, a lecturer in the Faculty of Shari’ah, Patriarch Michel Sabbah, Bishop Theodosios (Hanna), Bishop William Shomali, Bishop Munib Younan, Mr. Omar Harami, the chairman of As-Sabil Center in Jerusalem participated in the meeting.

The members of the forum assured the importance of such meetings as they comprise some staff members of the Faculty of Shari’ah and other clergymen from the Christian and Samaritan sects.

One of the most significant issues which were discussed is how to address the hatred speech and condemn it, and how to know more about the other by preparing materials on coexistence and publishing it amongst different social groups via different available means.
