On Tuesday, 2/7/ 2024, the first virtual meeting took place between Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID) and A-Najah Center for Religious Studies (ANCERS) took place. The Meeting was directed by Prof. Jamal Zaid al-Kilani, the dean of the Faculty of Shari’ah, and the director of ANCERS. The attendees from DICID were His Excellency, Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Al-Naimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar, and the Head of the Administrative Board, Dr. Ahmad A. Rahim, the director of DICID, and Dr. Sekou Touri, a senior researcher. From ANCERS, in addition to Prof. Zaid al-Kilani, Dr. Odeh Abdullah, the chairman of the Fundamentals of Religion department and a member in the advisory board of ANCERS, and Ms. Rana Qadri, a member of the Coordination and Follow-Up Committee attended. The meeting’s main theme was on ways of cooperation between the two centers. The proposals suggested by each party were accepted.
