In cooperation with An-Najah Center for Religious Studies, Jusoor Initiative for Peaceful Coexistence Organizes a One-day Seminar on Religious Discourse

    In cooperation with An-Najah Center for Religious Studies and KAICIID, Jusoor Initiative for Peaceful Coexistence which is interested in how to develop religious discourse and which comprises the Samaritan Legend Association, the Bible Society, the Christian Arab Scout, and Seeds for Development and Culture organized a one-day seminar on religious discourse.

    The seminar was held in the Faculty of Shari’ah Building; some Muslim Imams, bishops of churches and a representative of the Samaritan Community attended.

    Prof. Jamal Zaid Al-Kilani talked, the dean of the Faculty of Shari’ah and the Chairman of An-Najah Center for Religious Studies, talked about the significance of religious discourse and the necessity of raising such dialogues. He also assured some common issues and their vital role on how to create pace between people.

    Then, Mr. Raed Debiy, the Vice President for Social Affairs and the Chairman of Jusoor Initiative for Peaceful Coexistence, talked about the necessity of conducting such a meeting in the Faculty of Shari’ah in An-Najah National University. He also assured the vital role that this meeting plays in reinforcing peaceful coexistence notion and in fixing the religious discourse in Palestine.
