About Us
The Vision and Mission:
The main mission of the center is to adopt and implement the concept of interfaith dialogues and the relevant religious studies so as the get the center one of the largest academic references in this field in Palestine and to contribute in building human connections between people of different religions.
The objectives of the Center:
- Reinforcement dialogues between people of different religions and different cultures locally as well as globally
- Emphasizing the cultural value of human diversity and working to get the rules of coexistence, dialogues, understanding and collaboration between humans anchored regardless of their religions or cultures especially in Palestine
- Providing scientific materials about interfaith dialogues, religious diversity, and about introducing the largest religions in the world
- Enhancing the academic dialogues and collaborations between the center and other academic and scientific centers on human rights
Methods and Approaches
- Signing local academic agreements between the center and other universities and centers which are interested in interfaith dialogues such as Bethlehem Bible College and Dar Al-Kalima University in Bethlehem
- Signing international academic agreements between the center and other universities and centers which are interested in interfaith dialogues such as the Royal Institute for the Interfaith Studies in Jordan
- Establishing partnerships with international organizations to enhance and promote global dialogues on religions and human rights
